This time, thanks to the Victor Pinchuk Foundation’s contribution, we have had the artificial lungs’ humidifiers repaired and flow sensors replaced, and bought generators and varied size bonnets for the non-invasive ventilation units. Proper artificial lung ventilation with monitoring of the flow, temperature and humidity of the oxygen-air mixture for preterm babies is key to successful treatment of infants and their further quality of life.”
