Davos Ukrainian BreakfastIn 2018, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation co-founded the Ukraine House Davos to take place during the World Economic Forum (WEF) with the aim of highlighting the vibrant, energetic European country and society that is Ukraine. It provides an opportunity for influential thinkers, leaders, entrepreneurs, and business people to gather to discover Ukraine as one of Europe’s most promising emerging markets.

Past speakers have included Anna Maria Corazza Bildt, Member of EU Parliament from Sweden; Sir Suma Chakrabarti, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development; Vitaliy Klitschko, Mayor of Kyiv; Volodymyr Klitschko, co-founder of the Klitschko Foundation; Petro Poroshenko, President of Ukraine (2014-2019); Sophia the Robot, chief humanoid at SingularityNet; and Timothy Snyder, author and historian.

The co-founders of the Ukraine House Davos are: Horizon Capital, Western NIS Enterprise Fund, and Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association.

Russian War Crimes House now open in Davos


Today the official opening of the Russian War Crimes House took place at the occasion of the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. The project, organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and PinchukArtCentre in partnership with the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers is located in the former Russia House at Davos. It is designed to help bring the horrific reality of Russia’s aggression in Ukraine to the attention of the world.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska will headline this year’s Ukraine House Davos alongside the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting next week, appearing virtually from Ukraine.

Ukraine House Davos opens its doors alongside the World Economic Forum for its third consecutive year led by co-organizers Victor Pinchuk Foundation, Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF), Horizon Capital, and Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association. Ukraine: Creativity, Innovation, Opportunity is its theme. The House will showcase the best of the New Ukraine: a young and vibrant democracy in the heart of Europe, undergoing a massive transformation and led by a resilient, highly-educated and innovative new generation.
