The Victor Pinchuk Foundation created and has been supporting since 2012 the first Ukrainian online fundraising platform, the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace (UBB, ubb.org.ua). It was launched as the Foundation's social investment in online philanthropy to support and develop philanthropic giving in Ukraine by actively involving its citizens.

The Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace links donors with charitable projects and people in need of help. After a thorough verification, Ukrainian NGOs can place their projects on ubb.org.ua where potential donors can easily find the projects they want to support. The website is flexible for the user and, by ensuring transparency and accountability with fully audited statements, the platform allows citizens to be sure that their donations will directly help those in need.

The raised funds are transferred to the initiatives of more than 120 Ukrainian NGOs – saving and transforming thousands of lives, providing, among others, surgery and treatment to children with serious diseases, vacations for orphans, medical equipment and support for refugees from Eastern Ukraine and injured soldiers, and support for war-damaged cities and other worthy causes. Also, the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace consults companies on how to build transparent and effective philanthropic projects as part of their corporate social responsibility strategies.

By summer 2018 more than 3 300 projects were supported on UBB platform. 120 accredited NGOs raised more than 170 000 000 UAH for charity. Over last several years, the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace was honoured by various awards and prizes such as “Best Ukrainian/International Charity Fund” in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, “Innovations in Charity Award-2014”. In 2016, ubb.org.ua was awarded as the “Most Effective and Helpful Philanthropic Project in Ukraine”.
