Kwasniewski has criticized Ukraine’s behavior

Ukraine remains politically unpredictable for Europe and does not give any clear signals to EU, told Poland's former president Alexander Kwasniewski. He said this in Lviv, at European Discussion Forum.

«Since the last parliamentary elections, Ukraine has given no clear political signs to the European Union», - said the polish politician, defining himself as an advocate and adviser of Ukraine on its way to EU.

Ukraine is wasting its precious time for minor political brawls, rather than pushing towards European perspective, said Kwasniewski.
« It has been one year since the elections, however Ukraine still remains politically unpredictable for Europe», - added he.

The Ukrainian president and the premier «must set up a very efficient coordination and cooperation between different authorities for the State's benefit, and Ukrainian people should instil self-confidence and believe that Ukraine IS in Europe.

In his comments regarding Ukraine's integration into EU, Kwasniewski pointed out that the key drive for this process would soon be oligarchs from the Eastern Ukraine. Besides, most of the businessmen from Donetsk, Lugansk or Kharkiv perfectly understand the importance of presence of the companies at Frankfurt or London Stock Exchanges.

The former president also believes that Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO will also be beneficial for Russia since it will relieve Moscow from unnecessary temptations and provide an opportunity to focus on its domestic issues.

Kwasniewski is planning to make a report in Dnipropetrovs'k and Donetsk where he will speak on prospects for Ukraine from European Community.
