On October 20, 2021, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation announced the start of the 16th annual competition for its Zavtra.UA scholarship programme. This nationwide initiative in support of gifted youth contributes to the creation and strengthening of a new generation of Ukrainian intellectual and business leaders to drive change. On October 6, Babyn Yar hosted an official memorial ceremony for the victims of the tragedy with the participation of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the Presidents of Germany and Israel – Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Isaac Herzog.
