The site contains information on Yalta Annual Meetings, their history and reports. There is also an access to a large archive of photos from previous YES conferences 
Nobel Prize winner Paul Krugman to analyze future of market economy and democracy at the 8th Yalta Annual Meeting13.09.2011
The world’s preeminent economist and publicist, winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics 2008 Paul Krugman will appear at the 8th Annual Meeting of Yalta European Strategy (YES) with his special speech entitled “The Future of Western Democracy and Market Economy”. The speech will be delivered in the evening of the first conference day – Friday, September 16. 
Exhibition “Shoah by Bullets: Mass shootings of Jews in Ukraine 1941–1944”opened today in Kyiv, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Babi Yar tragedy08.09.2011
The exhibition is organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation in partnership with the Memorial de la Shoah, Yahad – In Unum and the Ukrainian Embassies of Israel, France, Germany and the United States. It will be on display at the ‘Ukrainian House’ (2, Khreschatyk, Kyiv) from September 9 to October 3, 2011. |
