Victor Pinchuk Foundation Announces the Start of the 13th Zavtra.UA Scholarship Programme Competition

On October 17, 2018, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation announced the start of the 13th annual open competition for its Zavtra.UA scholarship programme. This nationwide initiative in support of gifted youth contributes to the creation of a new generation of Ukrainian intellectual and business leaders to drive change.

Applications will be accepted on the programme website - zavtra.in.ua – from October 17 through November 30, 2018.

Scholarship holders are entitled to receive a monthly scholarship of UAH 2240 throughout the calendar year, and will have an opportunity to receive additional financial support and expert advice on their academic, social, environmental or business projects.

Every year, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation brings scholars together in Kyiv at the Zavtra.UA Youth Forum where scholarship recipients participate in team-building activities, explore the basics of social and business project development, and meet prominent Ukrainian and international politicians, scientists and cultural figures.

In addition, scholarship holders have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with global leaders, prominent thinkers and representatives of civil society at the Young Leaders Section at the Yalta European Strategy (YES) Annual Meetings and at the Victor Pinchuk Foundation's Public Lectures.

Students studying full-time in the 3rd through 6th year at a university with level 4 accreditation are welcome to participate in the open competition. Full details about eligibility are available on the programme’s website under “Competition.”

Key eligibility requirements include:

  • academic excellence;

Over the 12 years since the Zavtra.UA programme launched, more than 2,500 students from around the country have received the stipend. Currently, the programme recruits at universities throughout Ukraine, with 93 of them among its official partners.
