Victor Pinchuk Foundation to Hold the 11th Annual Youth Forum of Zavtra.UA and WorldWideStudies Educational Programmes

On June 22-24, 2018, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation will hold the 11th Annual Youth Forum of Zavtra.UA and WorldWideStudies (WWS) scholarship programmes, “Transforming Ukraine: Creativity, Networks, Innovation”. The event will bring together in Kyiv about 400 scholarship holders, including 6 WorldWideStudies grantees who will study abroad to get a Master’s degree at the world’s best universities and 100 new Zavtra.UA scholars who will get a one-year scholarship and receive support for implementing projects in Ukraine.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, Founder, entrepreneur and initiator of challenge Management Volodymyr Klitschko, Dzerkalo Tyzhnya editor-in-chief Yuliya Mostovaya, businessman and philanthropist Victor Pinchuk and renowned historian Niall Ferguson will speak to the scholarship holders at the official opening of the Forum on June 22.

Additionally, during the three days of the Forum, Zavtra.UA scholars will take part in practical seminars and workshops in which they will gain skills and knowledge from leading Ukrainian experts, entrepreneurs and NGO representatives. The students will also develop social and business projects, the best of which will get support from the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

Over the 12 past years, Zavtra.UA and WorldWideStudies programmes have contributed to the emergence of a talented young Ukrainian generation with an excellent education and deep knowledge of the best international practices and ideas. This generation will think and feel differently and therefore be able to make a strong contribution to building a new country, in accord with the Victor Pinchuk Foundation’s mission since 2006, “to empower future generations to become the change makers of tomorrow.”

Since 2006, Ukraine’s 2500 talented students have become Zavtra.UA scholars who got financial support to continue their studies and implement their own projects aimed at transforming Ukraine. Since 2010, the WorldWideStudies scholarship programme has provided grants for more than 100 of Ukraine’s best students to receive a Masters’ degree at the world’s best universities and then return to Ukraine to apply their knowledge for the benefit of the country.
