The Victor Pinchuk Foundation’s Zavtra.UA Programme and the Coca-Cola Foundation Invite Students from All Regions of Ukraine to the 2nd “YOU Camp – Youth, Opportunities, Unity” Summer Camp
The Victor Pinchuk Foundation’s Zavtra.UA scholarship programme with support of Coca-Cola Foundation will hold the 2nd “YOU Camp – Youth, Opportunities, Unity” summer camp for Ukrainian students. 100 students – 50 from temporarily transferred universities from the occupied territories of the Eastern Ukraine, 50 from universities of other regions – will come together to develop projects geared toward social integration of youth in Ukrainian.
The camp will run from July 10 through 14, 2018. To take part, students in their 1st through 6th years must fill out an application form and enclose a motivation letter. The applications should be submitted by 25 June 2018.
YOU Camp will provide students with practical skills to develop and implement projects. They will also receive expert and mentor support as well as networking opportunities. Students will learn how to gather data and process information, to develop an effective business plan, to raise funds and to present the projects to clients and public.
The students will develop projects in the following areas: inclusion and empowerment of internally displaced people; boosting economies in their communities (small business, social entrepreneurship); ecology (water and waste management, green energy and eco social initiatives); civil society development; gender equality and women's empowerment; innovation and tech; public health, and others. The best initiatives will be supported financially by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation to be implemented in communities all over Ukraine.
YOU Camp continues in the tradition of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation’s successful cooperation with the Coca-Cola Foundation. In 2013-2015, the Zavtra.UA Climate Change Camp was organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation with the support of the Coca-Cola Foundation and gave Zavtra.UA scholarship holders the opportunity to draw attention to environmental problems and provide incentives to address them.
The goal of the Zavtra.UA programme for the last 12 years has been to create a new generation of change makers: a generation with excellent education and skills, with mastery of the best international practices and ideas; a generation that will think and feel differently, and therefore be able to make an important contribution to building a new country. The programme fulfils the Victor Pinchuk Foundation’s mission since 2006 to empower new generations to become the change makers of tomorrow.
