EU Ambassador to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli met with students of the WorldWideStudies program

Yesterday, on the 22^nd of November, EU Ambassador to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelly met with grantees of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation’s WorldWideStudies program that helps young talented Ukrainian specialists get grants to study under Master degree programs at top 200 universities of the world.

The head of the EU Delegation who was appointed to this post in last summer, shared his first impressions about Ukraine and stressed on the positive role that the civil society plays in the development of the country. He emphasized that to do something positive for the country, he needs to better understand it, and therefore it is very important to him to meet with such active representatives of the society as the WorldWideStudies grantees.

In addition, the meeting participants discussed the relations between the EU and the USA, the visa liberalization for Ukraine, Brexit, impact of globalization on the world and the issues of gender inequality and homophobia.

The WorldWideStudies program regularly organizes meetings of grantees with influential politicians to exchange their views and set a dialogue between the active world leaders and the new generation of leaders who will be contributing to build the future of the country.
