Victor Pinchuk Foundation hosted Annual Youth Forum of educational programs Zavtra.UA and WorldWideStudies

On June 25, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation hosted its Annual Youth Forum, entitled “New Generation of Ukraine: Creating Tomorrow Today”. The event gathered over 200 students from all over Ukraine, including winners of the Zavtra.UA nationwide scholarship program and grantees of the WorldWideStudies educational program.

During the Forum, young participants discussed the problems and challenges faced by Ukraine today, reflecting on possible scenarios and solutions to resolve them. They also discussed the particular role of the new generation of Ukrainians in fostering positive and innovative changes in the country.

During the official part of the event, the Foundation held a ceremony awarding this year’s grant recipients under the WorldWideStudies program and presented awards to the winners of the personal rating of Zavtra.UA scholarship program.

The award ceremony was attended by the special guests including Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, President of Poland (1995-2005) Aleksander Kwasniewski, Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine Christof Weil, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Ukraine Simon Smith, founder of Zavtra.ua and WorldWideStudies educational programs Victor Pinchuk, as well as representatives of business and public organizations, which for many years have been supporting activities of the student community.

The role of mentors working alongside with the young scholars during the event was undertaken by the Managing partner of the consulting company pro.mova Eugene Hlibovytsky;  journalist, blogger and founder of the website "Istorychna Pravda" Vakhtang Kipiani;  founder of the visionary project "New Ukraine" Valery Pekar; founder and president of PRP Group Nataliya Popovych.
