Victor Pinchuk Foundation to present WorldWideStudies program at EducationUSA fair on November 3

On November 3, 2012, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation will participate in the first EducationUSA fairorganized by EducationUSA network in Ukraine with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.

At the fair the Victor Pinchuk Foundation will present its WorldWideStudies program, an educational project aimed at fostering a new generation of Ukrainian professional elite. The Project offers support to Ukrainian citizens aged 35 or under to pursue a Master’s Degree in one of the world’s best Universities based on the 200 Top Universities rankings of The Times Higher Education and QS.

Over the past three years since this program was launched 55 young people have become the program grantees, of which 10 have chosen to continue education in the universities of the United States, namely Harvard University, University of Pittsburg, Georgetown University, and other.

At the fair visitors will have a unique opportunity to communicate with representatives of U.S. colleges and universities on how to get an education in the U.S. and its benefits, as well as scholarships and grants for studying and research.

Program:

14:00 – Door open
14:30 - Opening and official welcome from the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine
18:00 - Closing

Presentations during the fair:

15:00-16:00 - "U.S. Student Visas". Conducted by Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.

16:00-17:00 - "If You Want To Study in The U.S. - The Application Process And Financing Your Education." Conducted by a representative of the Kyiv EducationUSA Advising Center.
