WorldWideStudies program of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation came into an agreement with the Cambridge Overseas Trust
The WorldWideStudies program of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation came into an agreement with the Cambridge Overseas Trust to enhance scholarships available for applicants from Ukraine, by co-funding the WorldWideStudies Cambridge Scholarship.
From 2011 students who applied to the University of Cambridge will be able to get the rest of financing from the Cambridge Overseas Trust after they meet the conditions set by WorldWideStudies. Successful applicants will be required to return to work in Ukraine for at least 5 years after completion of their degree courses in Cambridge.
The goal of the WorldWideStudies program is to foster a new generation of Ukrainian professionals by covering up to 60% of all expenses for obtaining a Masters degrees at some of the world's most respected universities, in the fields of agricultural studies, environment and ecology, law and public administration.
The first cohort of students, 17 scholars selected in 2010, are currently studying at universities in Germany, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the USA.
