ASPEN-Ukraine Graduates Association founded on 27 September 2010

Founding of the Association of ASPEN-Ukraine graduates became one of the most important developments for the Aspen-Ukraine project. The decision to establish the Association was taken in summer of 2010 during the meeting of the initiative group in Kyiv. An official registration of the new organization took place on 27 September 2010.

Mission of the Graduates Association is to unite efforts, intellectual, creative and business potential in order to promote responsible leadership among officials and informal leaders of Ukrainian society. Another important factor was a desire of the former participants of the Aspen-Ukraine seminars to form an efficient communication environment that would support exchange of the value oriented knowledge.

In accordance with the Regulations, the Association is governed by the General Meeting of its members. This year Yuri Perch is elected as President of the Association and Dmytro Liapin and Elena Sibiriakova are Vice-Presidents of the Association.

The future plans of the ASPEN-Ukraine Graduates Association include widening of its activities and exchange of accumulated national knowledge and experience with international ASPEN movement participants.
