PinchukArtCentre prolongs application process for the PinchukArtCentre Prize 2015 till June 7

The PinchukArtCentre prolongs till June 7 application procedure for the PinchukArtCentre Prize 2015, the first privately funded nationwide award in contemporary art for young Ukrainian artists up to 35. On-line submission of works for the competition is ongoing at prize.pinchukartcentre.org

20 shortlisted artists will be chosen and announced by the Selection Committee in June 2015. They will receive an exhibition at the PinchukArtCentre in Kyiv, Ukraine from October 2015 to January 2016. The winners of the Prize will be announced by the International Jury at the Award Ceremony in December 2015.

The Main Prize, two Special Prizes and the Public Choice Prize will be awarded within the framework of the PinchukArtCentre Prize:

  • The Main Prize is UAH 100 000 and includes internship in the studios of the world leading artists;
  • Two Special Prizes is UAH 25 000 each and include internship in the studios of the world leading artists;
  • The Public Choice Prize is UAH 10 000. The winner of the Public Choice Prize will be determined by votes of the visitors attending the exhibition of the shortlisted artists.

The winner of the Main Prize will be automatically included in the shortlist of the
Future Generation Art Prize 2016 – an International Art Prize for young artists.
