PinchukArtCentre and DAKH contemporary art centre to hold joint event named "Modern Art and Literature: Contact Territory" on December 17

The PinchukArtCentre invites all contemporary art lovers to take part in an event entitled “Modern Art and Literature: territory of contact”, organized by the PinchukArtCentre and DAKH. Musician and gallery owner Pavlo Hudimov, as well as a number of young Ukrainian poets will be actively involved with the project. The event will take place on Friday, 17 December 2010, at21:15 on the 4^th floor of the PinchukArtCentre next to the works by Katerina Seda. On this day the art centre will be open till 23:30.

During this event, classical texts, which had inspired the Future Generation Art Prize nominees to create their works of art, will be reinterpreted and expressed in an original manner by actors of the DAKH theatre, and presented via musical improvisations by Pavlo Hudimov.

To increase the number of viewers on this artistic night, the program of the event will be repeated with one hour interval: from 21.15 to 23.15 and from 22.15 to 23.15. Also, an on-line broadcast of the happening will be available on the PinchukArtCentre official website.
