PinchukArtCentre Prize Winners to be Announced on 4 December

The PinchukАrtСentre Prize Award Ceremony will take place on 4 December 2009. On this day, members of the international jury including artistic director of Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Francesco Bonami, artist Serhiy Bratkov, director of Neue Nationalgalerie Udo Kittelmann, artist Boris Mikhailov and curator at Tate Modern Jessica Morgan will determine the winners of the Prize.

The winners of the Main and two Special prizes, in addition to the cash prizes of UAH 100 000 and UAH 25 000 respectively, will have an opportunity to enter one month apprenticeship at studios of internationally renowned artists: Andreas Serrano in New York, Olafur Eliasson in Berlin and Antony Gormley in London.

The winner of the People’s Choice Prize gaining UAH 10 000 has been voted for during one month by the visitors of the 20 PinchukArtCentre Prize nominees exhibition. From 29 October to 29 November 2009 anyone had a chance to cast a vote for a favourite young artist.

The British artist and the Prize Patron Damien Hirst will take part in the Award Ceremony and arrive to Kyiv especially for this event.
