Nineteen winners of "Art-Summer in Venice with PinchukArtCentre" Quiz are to visit the world's 'Art Olympics'. The team of winners will stay in Venice from the 16th to the 19th of August. Accompanied by a professional curator, they will visit the major part of 52nd Venice Biennale located in Arsenal and the national pavilions represented by different countries located at the central alley of the Jardini Park. The Winners will also visit the Ukrainian pavilion represented by PinchukArtCentre this year.

According to one of the winners, Nikita Khudyakov from Nikolayev, - "to visit Venice Biennale has always been my cherished dream. It is interesting to look at the works of artists with my own eyes since I only read about them in the media. It's great that there going to be a professional curator with us whose comments and explanations will be very useful, I believe."

According to Claire Stebler, art-director of PinchukArtCentre, - "our goal consists in not only forming a professional community and updating Ukrainian Art stratum. The second task, which is of the same importance, is to introduce more public layers onto the orbit of contemporary art. The Art-Quiz concerned is a new practice since Western Art-Institutions have not launched any similar programs so far".

She also pointed out that 52nd Venice Biennale has become a landmark event for Ukraine. "This is for the first time when the Ukrainian Pavilion exhibition has been ranked among the three top events at the Biennale. I believe it is important that the people will share the success of their country, - said Claire. - They will be able to see and appreciate it all, to look at the exhibitions presented by other countries, to look at ordinary things in a different way and to determine their own place within the world's culture."
