Critics and collectors have highly appreciated the exposition presented by PinchukArtCentre in Venice

On the eve of the official opening of the Ukrainian pavilion at 52nd Venice Biennale on June 7, critics, curators, collectors and mass media representatives had a chance to see the exposition. It has become a tradition at the Biennale that the world art community has a possibility to exclusively visit a show just several days before official opening of the entire exhibition.

According to the curator of the exposition "A Poem about an Inland Sea" Alexander Soloviyov one can say even now that the show has been highly appreciated by the professionals: "A number of critics and curators have visited the show. There is a great interest in the Ukrainian exposition, which can be explained by both exceptional artistic solution of the Ukrainian pavilion and highly professional and world-renowned artists who presented their work. At the exhibition displaying 77 countries, the Ukrainian pavilion looks very good. We are looking forward to a wide response at Biennale".

"I may sound somewhat presumptuous but the work produced by the Ukrainian artists are the best to my mind," - said the owner of Palazzo Papodopoli, Princess Bianca of Savoy, - As I was looking at the works I could feel that artists put a heart into them".

Viktor Pinchuk, the founder of PinchukArtCentre, considers that of the major goal of Ukraine's participation at Biennale this year is to make Ukraine popular all over the world. "The world has to know more about Ukraine. We should not shut ourselves down in our geographical space. We should share the best that we have created with the entire world, - said Viktor Pinchuk during the opening of the pavilion.

As was reported earlier, British experts talked the Ukrainian pavilion "A Poem about an Inland Sea" the most anticipated of the entire 52nd Venice Biennale exhibition. Ukraine is being represented by PinchukArtCentre with a show "A Poem about an Inland Sea".
