Speech by President of Ukraine will open the 8th Davos Ukrainian Lunch

On January 27, 2012, in Davos, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and international investment advisory group EastOne, at the occasion of the Annual Meeting of World Economic Forum, will hold its 8th Ukrainian Lunch «Options for the Future», discussing the future prospects of Ukraine in the context of European and global developments.

President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych will open the conference with a speech dedicated to his vision of Ukraine’s future, followed by a debate with President of Poland (1995-2005) Aleksander Kwasniewski. A panel discussion held after the speech will feature Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Carl Bildt, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator of Turkey Egemen Bagis, dean of St. Petersburg University, former Deputy Prime Minister and ex- minister of finance of the Russian Federation Alexei Kudrin, head of the State Agency of Ukraine for Investments and Management of National Projects Vladyslav Kaskiv, and leader of the political party "Front of Changes" Arseniy Yatseniuk. Editor of Thomson-Reuters Chrystia Freeland will be the moderator.  

This year, the traditional Ukrainian Lunch will bring together around 300 leaders from business, politics, the third sector and media.
