Each year on the occasion of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, we host the Davos Ukrainian Breakfast in order to put Ukraine on the international agenda and to bring Ukrainian and international leaders together.

The Davos Ukrainian Breakfast is one of the most prominent annual international gathering outside Ukraine dedicated to giving world leaders an opportunity to learn and talk about Ukraine’s political and economic challenges and ways to overcome them.

During the Davos Ukrainian Breakfast in 2022-2024, after the full-scale Russian invasion in Ukraine, global political leaders, experts and activists discussed the key aspects of Ukrainians’ defense for life and freedom and explored scenarios for the future of Ukraine and its allies in the fight against Russian aggression.

Among the speakers of the Davos Ukrainian Breakfast were José Manuel Barroso, Carl Bildt, Richard Branson, Andrzej Duda, Niall Ferguson, Chrystia Freeland, Thomas Friedman, Natalie Jaresko, Rt Hon Boris Johnson, Bronislaw Komorowski, Dmytro Kuleba, Aleksander Kwasniewski, Roberta Metsola, Oleksandra Matviichuk, Chris Patten, David Rubenstein, Radosław Sikorski, Wolfgang M. Schmidt, George Soros, Timothy Snyder, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and many other politicians and experts.

The first Davos Ukrainian event was hosted in January 2005 by Victor Pinchuk, the Founder of Interpipe Corporation, after Interpipe had become the first Ukrainian corporate member of the World Economic Forum.
