Open Ukraine Foundation opens Second security forum

Open Ukraine Foundation opens the Second Kyiv Security Forum "Black-Caspian Sea Region and European Energy Security", which is to work in Kyiv, Ukraine, November 6-7.

This international annual event aims at creating a new platform for European security and increasing mutual understanding and cooperation between the EU and the Black-Caspian Sea region on the issues of energy security.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament and Founder of the Open Ukraine Foundation will open the Second Kyiv Security Forum. Over 200 participants representing governments, international and regional organizations, business, expert communities, politics and media from EU-member states, Black and Caspian Sea region, the United States, will attend the Forum.
The participants will address issues of common challenges for energy security in Wider Europe, common priorities for the European Union and Black-Caspian Sea region to ensure energy security, national energy strategies and regional synergies, and other.

The Forum is held under the auspices of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, with the financial support from Victor Pinchuk Foundation.
