The Victor Pinchuk Foundation supported the neonatal intensive care department of the Cradles of Hope Center in Dnipropetrovsk

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation paid the cost of repairing 2 compressors, 2 monitors, an infusion pump, an aspirator, a high-frequency lung ventilation device and purchased generators for noninvasive ventilation and extension cords for monitors for the Newborns Intensive Care Unit at the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Hospital for UAH 151 739.

The Cradles of Hope partner center has been operating in this medical institution since the opening of the perinatal center in 2012, which was reconstructed from the former city maternity hospital No. 2. The Foundation financed the purchase of modern high-tech medical equipment for the nursing and treatment of prematurely born babies, including those with extremely low birth weight (up to 1 kg). Following a systematic approach, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation supports this medical institution by allocating funds annually to repair the equipment and expendable materials to ensure its uninterrupted operation, and invites perinatal center specialists to participate in all educational events held as part of the "Cradles of Hope" charitable project. The total investment of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation in this partner center from 2006 to 2022 amounts to over UAH 4.46 million.

Nowadays, in the face of full-scale russian military aggression against our country, the hospital is in close proximity to the war zone and provides 24/7 medical care to women and children from the temporarily occupied territories and war zones. Since the beginning of the war, the institution has treated around 400 infants in need of long and expensive treatment, provided with high-tech medical equipment. As the equipment operates on a continuous basis, it requires periodic repairs and replacement of consumable items. The Victor Pinchuk Foundation responded promptly to the hospital's request and paid for the necessary repairs and components.

Olena Vereshchak, Head of the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital: «We highly appreciate the support and assistance we received during these difficult times for our country and hope to continue our fruitful cooperation with the Victor Pinchuk Foundation to save lives».
