With the support of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation doctors of Zaporizhzhia Regional Perinatal Center received training in the Perinatal Center of Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital

On December 1-5, as part of the program “Cradles of Hope” implemented by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, medical staff of Zaporizhzhia Regional Perinatal Center visited regional Perinatal Center of Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital, where they were trained to use the new technologies for primary intensive care and nursing for premature newborns.

Victor Pinchuk Foundation and Kharkiv Regional Perinatal Center have been partners since March 2012. Today the center is considered one of the best in Ukraine, actively introducing the latest innovations and modern methods of treatment and care for newborns. Its leader Irina Kondratova, being a highly qualified specialist in neonatology, is often invited as a speaker to various conferences and seminars.

Under the “Cradles of Hope” program, in addition to equipping neonatal centers with the high quality equipment, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation also pays great attention to regular activities intended to provide theory and practice training for staff of the program’s partner clinics. Since program launch in 2006, the Foundation supported and organized 25 training courses and events attended by 973 healthcare professionals from all regions of Ukraine.
