The legendary theatre LENCOM, with whose performances a number of generations grew up, after a five-year long pause visited Kyiv for a long stay. The spectators had an opportunity to see three plays which were not shown in Ukraine before, namely «The City of Millionaires», «Va-Bank», "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" (The Eclipse). The shows were fully sold out. The performances were attended by almost14,000 spectators.

A characteristic feature of LENCOM theatre performances is their grandeur, as well as massive and complex settings.  Thus, 10 trucks having the capacity of 82 cubic meters each were needed to deliver all necessary things for the performances in Kyiv. The total weight of the equipment and the settings is about 40 tons.

The LENCOM theatre always remains true to its principle, which is to show to spectators during its tours the performances, which are completely identical with Moscow productions, using the same settings and cast. In total, 68 actors took part in the three performances, and the backstage staff of 47 persons supported the performances. 

Since 1994, it was the sixth tour of the theatre, which took place under the patronage of Victor Pinchuk.
