Victor Pinchuk Foundation launches 17th Zavtra.UA scholarship program selection

On October 20, 2022, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation launched the 17th Zavtra.UA scholarship program selection. This nationwide program supporting talented youth seeks to foster and empower the next generations of the country's intellectual and business elite that will drive future change. The Foundation selects the most talented Ukrainian students and provides them with access to financing, expertise, and information.

Applications can be submitted on the program's website zavtra.in.ua from October 20 to November 30, 2022. Full-time 3-6 year students of Ukrainian universities, academies, and institutes are eligible to apply. For more information about the terms and conditions of the selection, please go to the Selection section on the program's website.

The winners — the future Zavtra.UA grantees — receive a monthly stipend of UAH 3,727* from the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and access to financial support and expertise for their R&D, social, environmental, or business projects. Moreover, students also join a 2,500+ community of talented youth from all over Ukraine.

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation brings together stipend recipients at the Zavtra.UA Youth Forum in Kyiv every year. The students participate in team-building training sessions, learn how to develop social and business projects, and meet prominent Ukrainian and international politicians, scientists, and cultural icons.

In addition, grantees can interact with the global leaders, thinkers, businessmen, and representatives of civil society during the Young Leaders Forum at the Yalta European Strategy (YES) Annual Meetings and public lectures of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

"Empowering future generations to become the change makers of tomorrow has been our mission pursued by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation for 16 years. Today, when the training process is often complicated, and additional opportunities are limited, Ukrainian students are in great need of extra support. That is why we started the Zavtra.UA scholarship program to bolster talented young people who continue to study and take their first steps on the career path in Ukraine," stated Svitlana Hrytsenko, Board member and Director of the Zavtra.UA program at the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

Key selection criteria:

  • originality of ideas in specialist fields of research, with the ideas to be substantiated in students' works;
  • active position and experience in public, social or volunteer projects and initiatives to be confirmed by a letter of recommendation;
  • motivation for personal and professional development;
  • leadership potential, strong communications skills, and creativity.

Over 16 years since its inception, Zavtra.UA has provided scholarship to more than 2,500 students from all over the country. Today, the program cooperates with higher education institutions from all Ukrainian regions, with 95 universities being its official partners.
