Day 75 of War: How We are Helping to Bring Ukraine Closer to Victory over Ruscism

Today is the 75th day of Ukraine's fight against ruscism. For over two months now, Victor and Olena Pinchuk via their entities, facilities, and links as well as with their resources have been actively supporting the army and the civilian sector. To this end, over USD 25 million have been allocated

Help is provided directly and through volunteer organizations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, territorial defence forces, health professionals and medical outlets, and the civilians. 

Key areas of assistance are – 

Support for the army and defense forces 

Financing the supply of armoured cars, thousands of bullet-proof vests and helmets, communications equipment, intelligence hardware and other ammunition.

Tactical and civil medicine 

- Seven modern armored ambulances have been procured to treat injured service members and civilians in hot spots.

- More than 50.5 thousand tri-component tactical first-aid kits for military personnel have been handed over to the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Health. Each of these kits includes a CAT military tourniquet, Celox blood-stopping products and bandages.

- Additional 77.5 thousand tourniquets and 32 thousand bandages were provided for ambulances to save people in the hot spots. 

- Over 2,500 fully-equipped tactical first aid kits were handed over to paramedics from the “Hospitallers” and medical staff of the territorial defence units.

- 39 hospitals in 15 cities of Ukraine have received the necessary medicines and consumables. And hospitals in hot spots, in Okhtyrka, Chernihiv and Rivne particularly, have been equipped with additional power generators.

- Special transportation incubators for evacuating and safe transporting of newborn babies in critical condition were procured for 8 hospitals in Sumy, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv oblasts. 

Humanitarian aid 

- Food products, baby food, medicines and hygiene products to help Ukrainians in areas where combat actions are ongoing and for forcibly displaced persons.

- Equipping shelters and providing assistance in evacuation and protection of civilians. 

- Grants to Ukrainian scientists at a British university to enable them to continue working during their forced displacement.

  • financing projects via the Dobro.UA platform. 49 on-site support projects were implemented in Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Kherson and other cities. 
  • Cultural and communication projects to support Ukraine by the world community

- The project of the Ukrainian pavilion “This is Ukraine: Defending Freedom” at the 59th Biennale in Venice, implemented in partnership with the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and PinchukArtCentre.

- A special online event of YES dedicated to the war in Ukraine and the future of the world with leading thinkers and historians Yuval Noah Harari and Timothy Snyder and Pulitzer Prize winner Anne Applebaum.

Victor and Olena Pinchuk constantly communicate in various formats with world leaders in politics, business, media, culture and arts, scientists and thought leaders, to make it clear that Ukraine is fighting not only for itself, but also for the world and upholds democratic values throughout the world, therefore Ukraine needs even stronger immediate support from Europe and the West. Among other things, Viсtor Pinchuk emphasized this in his publications in foreign media: Wall Street Journal, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
