Ukraine’s challenges and prospects in the European and global context will be the focus of the second day of the YES Brainstorming

The second day of the YES Brainstorming, organised by Yalta European Strategy (YES) and the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, will focus on challenges and prospects of Ukraine in the European and global context. 

The day of September 11th will focus on issues as energy security, rule of law, fighting corruption, Ukraine’s place in the global economy and its European perspective. A discussion on the 9/11 attacks in 2001 and what they mean for today, on occasion of the 20 years commemoration, as well as a conversation on prospects of global cooperation to fight global threats, will put the discussion in a wider context. 

The YES Brainstorming – themed “Post-COVID = Pre-Disaster? Steps to Survival” – will be held on September 9th-11th, 2021 in Kyiv, Ukraine. The YES Brainstorming is an exclusive, interactive conversation with Ukraine’s most promising leaders of today and tomorrow, and with some of the world’s most acclaimed thinkers. 

This year the YES Brainstorming will bring together participants from more than 20 countries.
