Victor Pinchuk Foundation to hold the second educational seminar for teachers in Dnipropetrovsk as a part of Open University Project
Continuing implementation of educational projects aimed at preserving and developing intellectual potential of Ukraine, on October 28-30 the Victor Pinchuk Foundation will hold the second seminar under its Open University Project - a series of educational seminars for secondary school teachers of Dnepropetrovsk city.
The project is implemented in collaboration with the Dnepropetrovsk district departments of education, aiming to establish a system of charitable support of professional and personal development of the best teachers of secondary schools.
This time more than 30 maths teachers of Samarskyi and Industrial districts of Dnepropetrovsk will take part in the event. Within three days of the seminar they will attended lectures and talk to a number of practicing maths teachers from the leading Ukrainian universities, will learn about new teaching materials and literature, and also will learn about modern interactive multimedia technologies and instruments of teaching maths in schools. In addition, the teachers will go through psychological training.
Open University Project seminars are organized in Dnopropetrovsk on a regular basis twice a year for teachers of different disciplines. The first seminar was organized for history teachers in August 2013.
