Coursera and the Victor Pinchuk Foundation launch one of the most popular courses with Ukrainian translation

On Monday, October 7, 2013, a leading Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) provider Coursera for the first time launches its Model Thinking course with Ukrainian subtitles created with the support of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation under its global partnership with the MOOC. The first course that has been selected to be translated into Ukrainian is one of the three most popular Coursera courses that generates more than 100,000 subscribers every time it starts.

Model Thinking is a free online course taught by Scott E. Page of University of Michigan – one of the world’s top universities These series of lectures talks about how to apply mathematical models in different areas of life and business to help you make effective decisions and choose the most effective strategy. In addition to Ukrainian, the course is also translated into Chinese. Everyone can sign up for of the 10-week-long course for free.
