GENERATIONS.UsA leaves PinchukArtCentre

The dismantling of GENERATIONS.UsA exhibition started on March 20. Now the preparation for the next exhibition to be opened in April is underway.  

The exhibition GENERATIONS.UsA of young Ukrainian and American artists excited much interest both among the Ukrainian visitors, and foreign guests of Kiev.  Over 40 000 persons attended the exhibition in three months.

Alexander Soloviev, a curator of PinchukArtCentre, was agreeably surprised by the dynamics of young artists' exhibition attendance: "Interest to up-to-date art is on the rise. I was pleased that the number of people who attended the exhibition of young artists exceeded the number of visitors of the first exhibition, where world-famous stars, as well as acclaimed national artists were represented".

The next project to be represented at PinchukArtCentre will be the exhibition of selected art-works by the Brazilian artist Vic Muniz, "A Survey".
