The Victor Pinchuk Foundation offered a grant to the International Conference "Facing Tomorrow" organized and held under the auspices of the President of Israel since 2008. The grant is provided under the Foundation's strategic direction of activities, entitled "Investing in the world", aimed at fostering a more integrated world.

On 25 Aprill the PinchukArtCentre (Kyiv, Ukraine) presented Requiem, a major retrospective of over 100 works dating from 1990 to 2008, by Damien Hirst. The exhibition also includes 40 new skull paintings created by the artist between 2006 and 2008.
On April 22, 2009, in the premises of the Neonatological Centre of the National Children's Specialized Hospital ‘Okhmatdyt', the 17th centre ‘Cradles oh Hope' was opened in Kyiv. It is a joint project of the British artist Damien Hirst and of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation under the Foundation's program in the field of health protection ‘Cradles of Hope'.
A joint project “Ask Damien Hirst a question” by the PinchukArtCentre and Korrespondent.net has started on 15 April 2009. During the next 8 days Ukrainians will be able to submit a question for one of the most iconic artist of our time. This can be done on-line through a specially created webpage
