The Victor Pinchuk Foundation offered a grant to the International Conference "Facing Tomorrow" organized and held under the auspices of the President of Israel since 2008. The grant is provided under the Foundation's strategic direction of activities, entitled "Investing in the world", aimed at fostering a more integrated world.

The "Facing Tomorrow" Conference is organized to analyze today's world development tendencies, forecast global dynamics and develop solutions to help overcome critical problems of the international community. Its mission is to contribute in drawing a clear picture of the shared future for the nations and peoples of the world confronted by the global challenges. Prominent politicians, public figures and business leaders from all over the world are engaged in these annual meetings.

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation grant is offered to organize within the conference a series of discussions regarding a wide range of problems, including the global economic crisis, geo-political challenges of the 21st century, role and position of art in the modern world, leading information technologies and education system. The Foundation expects that the exceptional expert potential of the conference discussions will help find innovative answers to the problems of the modern world on a global, regional and local scale.

The key topics for discussions at the second annual conference opening today in Jerusalem will be consequences of the global economic crisis and future economic, geo-political and informational structure of the world as a result of it.

The discussions will be joined by the President of Israel Shimon Peres, President of Croatia Stepan Mesic, President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Klaus, 2nd President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, ex-Prime Minister of Great Britain Tony Blair, ex-Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, ex-Prime Minister of Spain Jose Maria Aznar, ex-president of the World Bank James Wolfensohn, laureate of the Nobel Peace Prize 2007, Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Dr. Rajendra K. Pachauri and founder of Wikipedia J.J. Wales.


The Victor Pinchuk Foundation
Established in 2006 by a businessman and philanthropist Victor Pinchuk, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation is one of the largest Ukrainian private philanthropic organisations. The Foundation develops and implements social projects aimed at modernising Ukraine and nurturing a new generation of Ukrainian leaders. The Foundation's priority fields of activities are health care, education, culture, human rights, Ukraine's global integration and local communities' development.

Among the largest projects of the Foundation are: the "Cradles of Hope" programme for opening neonatal health care centres throughout Ukraine, student scholarship programme "Zavtra.UA", the PinchukArtCentre contemporary art institution, international network YES (Yalta European Strategy) to support Ukraine's aspirations for European integration.

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation is a member of European Fund Centre and Ukrainian Grant makers Forum and partner of the Yalta European Strategy (YES). The Foundation cooperates with Clinton's Global Initiative and other non-governmental organisations.

On 18 February 2023, on the margins of the Munich Security Conference, Yalta European Strategy (YES) and the Victor Pinchuk Foundation held the 6th Munich Ukrainian Lunch, titled “One Year Later: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom and What’s Next”. Panelists discussed how support for Ukraine's allies has manifested itself and how the war is progressing on the military, economic, political, and information fronts; they assessed ways to end the war, focusing on key aspects of President Zelensky's peace formula and its implementation.

Victor Pinchuk Foundation and the PinchukArtCentre in cooperation with the Office of the President of Ukraine, today opened the UKRAINE IS YOU exhibition, on the occasion of the Munich Security Conference (MSC). It invites visitors to be Ukrainian for a moment while warning that what is happening to Ukraine is equally a threat to others. It is an experience enabling others to share some moments of power endured by Ukrainians defending freedom in the face of the suffering that many Ukrainians were, and still are, subjected to, during the Russian aggression.

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation has donated 117 patient warming systems (Inspiration Healthcare Limited, UK) worth UAH 21,544,205 to the neonatal intensive care units and post-intensive care units of 46 maternity hospitals and children's hospitals across Ukraine as part of the Ukraine Relief Fund, a joint charitable initiative established by Victor and Olena Pinchuk and the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, Eric and Wendy Schmidt and Schmidt Futures, Robert F. Smith and Vista Equity Partners, Andrew and Nicola Forrest's Minderoo Foundation, Bill Ford and the General Atlantic Foundation.
