Spell Your Name: News
“Spell your name” domestic TV premiere

May 8, 22:50 "Spell your name", a full-length documentary film about Holocaust, features on STB channel. The film is directed by Sergey Bukovskiy and based on materials from the Institute of videohistory and education of the University of South California as well as testimonies of the immediate witnesses. Co-producers are Steven Spielberg and Viktor Pinchuk
"Actually, our film "Spell your name" is a part of a large educational project. I am confident that students in different countries have to see it. Tolerance is something that can be built up, whilst much depends on a teacher", said Steven Spielberg, director of "The Schindler's List", during the premier held on October 18 2006 .
Each shot of the film is a true story by those who survived the Holocaust or those who rescued the Jews at death peril. To enhance the overall effect director operated the staggering numbers of the Holocaust toll. 90 minutes of the film is a change of retrospective to introspective, intermittence of off-screen narrative and voices of the Holocaust's witnesses.
We invite you to see the film and discuss it on our forum. More information you will find at www.spellyourname.org
