The Centre for Contemporary Art PinchukArtCentre (Kyiv, Ukraine) presented a personal exhibition of the world famous Brazilian artist and photographer Vik Muniz “Vik Muniz: A Survey”. The works of the artist were exhibited in the largest museums of the world and at the most prestigious exhibitions of the last decade. On March 26- 28, in the framework of the events organized by “European Debate Forum” initiated by the non-government network “Yalta European Strategy” (YES), meetings were held of one of the EU leading politician, President of Poland (1995-2005) Aleksandr Kwasniewski with representatives of the authorities and the public of Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk.
GENERATIONS.UsA leaves PinchukArtCentre20.03.2007
The dismantling of GENERATIONS.UsA exhibition started on March 20. Now the preparation for the next exhibition to be opened in April is underway. The exhibition GENERATIONS.UsA of young Ukrainian and American artists excited much interest both among the Ukrainian visitors, and foreign guests of Kiev. Over 40 000 persons attended the exhibition in three months. |
