On January 18, 2024 in Davos (Switzerland), the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, and international investment advisory group EastOne, will host the annual Ukrainian Breakfast discussion, their traditional ‘closed’ event, which takes place on the occasion of the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF). The discussion, which will focus on the most urgent issues facing Ukraine, will be moderated by Fareed Zakaria, host of Fareed Zakaria GPS on CNN.

The event will be livestreamed at 7:30 am (CET), available via this link

The discussion panel will include: Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland; David Cameron, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of UK; Espen Barth Eide, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway; Bill Ford, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, General Atlantic; Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine; Kajsa Ollongren, Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of the Netherlands; Andrej Plenković, Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia; Penny Pritzker, U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine's Economic Recovery; Edgars Rinkēvičs, President of the Republic of Latvia; David M.Rubenstein, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of The Carlyle Group; Radosław Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland; Timothy Snyder, Richard C. Levin Professor of History, Yale University and Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine — Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

This year's topic and visual element of the event Stand With Ukraine? was inspired by the artwork of Nikita Kadan which Victor Pinchuk bought on April 24th, 2023 at the charitable auction by Ukrainska Pravda to support 93 brigade Kholodnyi Yar.

The Ukrainian Breakfast (Lunch) discussion at Davos has been held annually since 2005 with the aim of putting Ukraine on the international agenda and to bring Ukrainian and international leaders together.

In addition to the traditional Ukrainian Breakfast Discussion, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation will launch and host the Deciding Your Tomorrow project, an immersive visual and intellectual experience, and space for discussion and debate. Four contemporary Ukrainian artists depict Ukraine through a series of compelling video portraits and stories. An exhibition portraying Ukrainians as they defend freedom, endure losses, and achieve victories. Amid constant threat, it showcases people definitely living their lives.

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation will also continue its commitment to promoting Ukraine as an investment destination at the WEF annual meeting, once again co-organising the Ukraine House Davos (16-18 January, at Promenade 59, Davos).
