Financial aid to the Dniepropetrovsk sufferers is being paid out

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation pays out 2 500 UAH to each sufferer out of almost 600 residents of the destroyed building at 127 Mandrykovskya Street and to those residing at adjacent buildings damaged by the gas blast on October 13. The amount of the first tranche is 1.764 mln UAH. All in all the Victor Pinchuk Foundation has allocated 10 mln UAH to the sufferers.

Each sufferer will receive the financial aid through an individual credit card issued by the "Credit-Dniepro" Bank. Children assistance is transferred to credit cards of their parents. Everyone who suffered the blast may apply financial aid and obtain credit cards in Dniepropetrovsk City, in ad hoc representative office of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation located 16, Honchara, Street, room #307 (3rd Floor). The workers of the representative office have been making up a list of requests made by the sufferers in order to define the most efficient ways of further providing necessary financial and legal aid and organizational support.

As of Monday 1.00 p.m., around 200 people requested aid in the ad hoc representative office of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation in Dniepropetrovsk City.

As was reported earlier this week the Victor Pinchuk Foundation has allocated 10 million UAH for the people who suffered the gas blast in the block of flats at 127, Mandrykovskaya Street, in Dniepropetrovsk City. A special account has been opened in "Credit-Dniepro" Bank for this purpose. The Victor Pinchuk Foundation, OJSC "Nizhnednieprovskiy tube-rolling mill" and LLC "Dnieprostal" have contributed money to this account already. A group of specialists from the Foundation has been working in Dniepropetrovsk since October 15. They are interworking with an emergency operations center and local authorities.
