In last 10 days more than 20 thousand people have visited REFLECTION exhibition

More than 20 thousand people have visited REFLECTION exhibition from its opening day October 6 2007. One of the most popular exhibit items at Reflection exhibition has become an installation titled "Blind Light" made by Turner Prize winner (1994) Antony Gormley. In Britain a fascinating structure made out of glass, metal and steam was visited by 210 000 persons.

According to Victor Sydorenko, vice president of Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Director of the Institute of the Contemporary Art Problems: "This is really great that such a huge number of people have visited Reflection exhibition during the first days and there is every indication that a breakthrough is likely to happen with the Ukrainian world of art. Before this, only exhibitions of traditional art for instance Goya's graphic art, Pirosmani's works or "Tutankhamun's Gold" exhibition could attract crowds of people. Moreover, this is for the first time when an exhibition of contemporary art has become such a big-time event."
