On April 22, 2009, based at the Neonatological Centre of the National Children's Specialized Hospital ‘Okhmatdyt', the 17th centre ‘Cradles of Hope' was opened in Kyiv Damien Hirst donated his painting to the Cradles of Hope Programme implemented in Ukraine by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation12.02.2009
The £300 000 proceeds from selling the «Dark Days» by Damien Hirst will be handed over to the Cradles of Hope, a programme developed by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and aimed at providing aid to newborns in Ukraine. The Victor Pinchuk Foundation has opened “Cradles of Hope” neonatal centre in Ivano-Frankivsk28.10.2008
On 28 October 2008 a new "Cradles of Hope" Neonatal Centre has opened at the Regional Family Planning Centre in Ivano-Frankivsk. The event took place under the "Cradles of Hope" National Programme initiated by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation. |
