German Gref

German Gref was born on February 8, 1964.

In 1990 graduated from the Omsk State University (specialized in jurisprudence).

1990 - Lecturer, the Law Faculty of the Omsk State University.

1990-1993 - Post-graduate of the Law Faculty, Leningrad University (now is the Saint Petersburg State University).

1991-1992 - Legal adviser, the Committee for Economic Development and Property of the Petropalace, Saint Petersburg.

1992 - Head of the Petropalace District Agency of the Committee for the Property Control of the Saint Petersburg Administration.

1992-1994 - Chairman, Committee for the Property Control - Head Deputy of the Petropalace region Administration.

1994-1997 - Chairman Deputy - Director of the Real Estate Department; Senior Chairman Deputy, Committee for the Municipal Property Control of the Saint Petersburg Administration.

1997-1998 - Vice-governor - Chairman of the Committee for the Municipal Property Control of the Saint Petersburg Administration.

1998 - College member, Ministry for the State Property of the Russian Federation.

1998-2000 - Senior Minister Deputy, Ministry for the State Property of the Russian Federation.

1999 - College member, Federal Commission on the Securities Market. Head of the Center for Strategic Elaborations.

Since 2000 - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Council of the Fund «Center for Strategic Elaborations».
