The Victor Pinchuk Foundation presents educational programs in the International Exhibition “Education and Career – 2011”

On April 7-9, 2011, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation will be among the participants of the International Exhibition “Education and Career – 2011” and the exhibition «Education abroad» that will run parallelly. The event is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in partnership with the “Znannya” Association. The event will be held at the “Ukrainian House” (Kyiv, 2 Khreshchatyk Street) on April 7-9, 2011, daily from 11:00 to 18:00, Saturday - till 17:00. Free entry.

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation will present two projects: the “WorldWideStudies” program supporting Ukrainian students to obtain a Master’s degree abroad, and “Zavtra.UA”. The mission of the both programs is to foster a new, socially responsible intellectual and business elite.

The exhibition encompasses workshops and roundtables on international educational cooperation and modern educational technologies; presentations of national and foreign educational institutions, youth and student exchange programs, and the analysis of experience gained in cooperation with European countries in the spheres of education and youth employment.

Under the project “WorldWideStudies” last year scholarship was awarded to 17 students who are getting their Master’s Degree in the world’s best universities in 6 countries.

Application registration is open on the website www.worldwidestudies.org till 15 May 2011.

The WorldWideStudies program of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation came into an agreement with the Cambridge Overseas Trust to enhance scholarships available for applicants from Ukraine, by co-funding the WorldWideStudies Cambridge Scholarship. From 2011 students who applied to the University of Cambridge will be able to get the rest of financing from the Cambridge Overseas Trust after they meet the conditions set by WorldWideStudies

Program “Zavtra.UA” was launched 5 years ago and since then over 1000 students from nearly 70 universities in Ukraine won scholarships. The fourth Forum “Zavtra” will be organized in the end of May and the winners of this year will be announced there. Scholars of the project "Zavtra.UA" realized more than 20 social projects which have been supported by the Foundation. They also participated in the YES Annual Meeting in Yalta, met with top political leaders.
