On May 18, 2013 the PinchukArtCentre (Kyiv, Ukraine) will present “China China”, a major group exhibition including eleven Chinese artists of different generations, focusing on the tension between individuality and collective thinking. A subject, which not only defined Chinese history and continuously shapes contemporary society but equally gains importance in the West.

The show includes 3 new works by Bratkov especially created for the PinchukArtCentre. The artist will present photography-based pieces with neon elements which reflect recent survey of the city as well as a recent video work.

The PinchukArtCentre announced the names of the Selection Committee members who will nominate 20 artists for shortlist of the PinchukArtCentre Prize 2013. This is 3rd edition of the first privately funded nationwide prize in contemporary art biannually awarded to Ukrainian artists up to 35.
