Selection Announced to Participate in the Ukrainian Regional Civil Servants Section at the 14th YES Annual Meeting

Yalta European Strategy (YES), in cooperation with the Ukrainian School of Political Studies, announces the contest to participate in the joint project for regional leaders in the framework of the 14th YES Annual Meeting which will be held in Kyiv on September 14-16, 2017. The project members will have the opportunity to discuss the main challenges for Ukraine and the world, as well as the cooperation between Ukraine and Europe together with the world leaders, international and Ukrainian experts, leading politicians from Ukraine and the world, businessmen and civil servants. The participants can apply from July 28 through August 13, 2017.

We invite candidates meeting the following requirements to join:

• mayors, deputy mayors and governors, members of the oblast, city and district councils, public officers who work in oblast, city or district councils, local party representation offices, and civil servants;
• having significant professional achievements and showing leadership qualities;
• holding an active social position and able to apply the acquired knowledge in their daily work to benefit the society;
• citizens of Ukraine aged below 35, have a higher education;
• knowledge of foreign languages is an asset.

Procedure to be followed when applying to participate in the Ukrainian Regional Civil Servants Section during the 14^th YES Annual Meeting

1. The application to participate in the Ukrainian Regional Civil Servants Section during the 14^th YES Annual Meeting can be filled in via the link. Applications will be accepted until August 13, 2017, inclusively. The applications sent after the deadline shall not be taken into consideration.
2. All candidates will receive letters confirming the application receipt within three working days. If you do not receive a confirmation letter, please contact project assistant Valeria Yakusko at [email protected] or by +38 044 531 3768 (office phone number).
3. Participants will be selected, based on the applications submitted, from August 14 to August 21. The information you indicate in the application form is confidential and shall not be disclosed. Application forms are consistently and impartially considered by the members of the Selection Committee which consists of competent representatives of the main target groups of the School. The Ukrainian School of Political Studies and the Yalta European Strategy reserve the right to refrain from giving any explanations regarding decisions to be taken by the members of the Committee.
4. All participants shall be informed about results of the application process from August 22 to 31.
