Tony Blair will moderate the 7th Philanthropic Roundtable of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation in Davos

Rt Hon Tony Blair, Patron of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, will moderate the  7th Philanthropic Roundtable of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation on 23 January, 2014 in Davos featuring Sir Richard Branson, Founder of Virgin Group, Bill Gates, Co-Chair and Trustee of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Professor Muhammad Yunus, Founder of Grameen Bank, Chairman of the Yunus Center, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate (2006).

Speakers and participants will discuss how to take philanthropy to the next level: how can social goals be achieved by including the private sector through gathering like-minded business leaders, each with an eye towards changing society and creating a more just and fair distribution of resources.

The 7th Philanthropic Roundtable, a private event of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation organized on the occasion of the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos will take place at 12:30 (GMT+1) on Thursday, 23 January, 2014 at the Morosani Schweizerhof Hotel in Davos (Switzerland). Around 400 leaders from the fields of philanthropy, business, politics, NGO and media are expected to attend the event.

The Philanthropic Roundtable is organized each year as a private event by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation at the occasion of the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos to bring together the world’s most renowned philanthropists and leaders from politics, the business community and the non-profit sector. Roundtable discussions address state-of-the-art approaches in philanthropy.
