On April 22, 2009, based at the Neonatological Centre of the National Children's Specialized Hospital ‘Okhmatdyt', the 17th centre ‘Cradles of Hope' was opened in Kyiv

The £300 000 proceeds from selling the «Dark Days» by Damien Hirst will
be handed over to the Cradles of Hope, a programme developed by the
Victor Pinchuk Foundation and aimed at providing aid to newborns in
Ukraine.

On 28 October 2008 a new "Cradles of Hope" Neonatal Centre has opened
at the Regional Family Planning Centre in Ivano-Frankivsk. The event
took place under the "Cradles of Hope" National Programme initiated by
the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.
