I want to begin by thanking my good friend Mr. Pinchuk for holding this traditional Ukrainian lunch in Davos. I regret that I am not able to join you personally but I am honored to contribute to this important event because I share your hopes and aspirations for Ukraine and its future.

First of all let me say that it is a great pleasure for me to address this distinguished audience. And I highly appreciate the work that has been done by the Viktor Pinchuk Foundation and by the Yalta European Strategy in order to build stronger ties between Ukraine and the European Union.

I will tell a couple of words on how I see the Russian position on Ukraine, position of Russian businessmen who are working with Ukraine or who are interested to work with Ukraine.

The first one has to do with the relationships between Ukraine, on the one hand, and Russia and the European Union, on the other hand.
